1. Overview
This page explains how to delete or disconnect data associated with Postvertise, based on what the product currently supports.
Self-service social-account disconnection is available to Creators. Self-service full account deletion is available to authenticated Creators and Brands from Dashboard → Settings.
2. How to Delete Your Postvertise Account
Sign in, open Dashboard → Settings, and use Delete account in the Danger Zone. Confirm in the dialog to permanently delete your Postvertise account.
Account deletion removes or anonymizes personal account data as described in Section 5, disconnects connected social accounts, and ends authenticated access. The API endpoint is DELETE /api/account for the authenticated session owner only.
If you cannot sign in, email support@postvertise.com from the email address on your account and include: (1) the subject “Account deletion request”; (2) your account email; (3) your username if any; and (4) whether you are a Creator or Brand.
We will verify that you control the account before processing offline requests.
5. What Deletion Removes
Social disconnect removes, for that connection: provider credentials/tokens, social account row, sync state, snapshots, audience/profile metrics, derived metrics, and ingested content items.
Self-service account deletion removes authentication material (sessions, unused magic-link tokens, stored passwords when present), disconnects social accounts as above, and removes profile personal information when the account has no shared marketplace history that must remain referentially intact.
When campaign history involves another party, Postvertise keeps the campaign relationship rows required for referential integrity and replaces personal profile fields with anonymized placeholders so private information is not exposed.
6. What May Need to Be Retained
Anonymized marketplace stubs may remain where foreign keys require them so campaign history for the other party is not destroyed.
Some information may also remain where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or backup integrity.
The application does not currently encode a published retention schedule or automated purge SLA for backups and logs.
7. Processing Timeline
Social disconnect and self-service account deletion take effect when the corresponding API succeeds (typically immediately in-product).
No guaranteed calendar SLA for offline/operator-assisted deletion or backup purge is implemented in software.
